Printmaker
Owned and operated by a ninth-generation Mainer named Trevor Smith, Pine Giant is a Portland-based printmaking and design studio specializing in limited-edition handmade silkscreen art prints, as well as custom illustration and graphic design services. A self-taught silkscreen printmaker since 2017, Trevor first began hand-printing gig posters for local concerts in Seattle while working there as a high-end residential architect. After relocating back home to Maine in 2021, he launched the Pine Giant studio, and now produces his work within the Running With Scissors print shop. The Pine Giant aesthetic incorporates Trevor’s love of nature, architecture, pop culture, and rural Maine life, covering a wide spectrum of creative influences, color palettes and visual styles.
