MAINE CRAFTS ASSOCIATION AND SHOP MAINE CRAFT WORK IN PARTNERSHIP TO SUPPORT AND EXPAND MAINE’S CREATIVE ECONOMY.
The Maine Crafts Association builds upon Maine’s rich craft traditions by nurturing a vibrant, supportive, inclusive craft community with educational programs and resources. We create initiatives to connect and support Maine craft artists and also engage a larger audience of patrons, donors, galleries, nonprofits, schools, and other institutions related to the craft field. A 501c3 nonprofit founded in 1983, the MCA now serves over 500 members living and working statewide and offers unique programs designed to help artists grow their practices and businesses, access emotional and social support, and engage the greater community through retail and educational events.
