Julianne Ahn

Object & Totem;

Founded in 2011, by Julianne Ahn, a Textile Design graduate of The Rhode Island School of Design and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  Inspiration varies from interpreting everyday objects to East Asian and European ceramic forms, all of which contribute towards the meditative nuances of wheel throwing, extrusion and hand building in order to create geometric relationships and totemic balance.  Formerly based in Philadelphia, Berlin and Brooklyn, the studio is currently located in Cumberland County, Maine, with a current emphasis on limited edition vases, select functional ware for home and bath, Wood-fired ceramics and fine art objects.
