I love painting with the wax, adding layers, scraping back to reveal, and adding heat to create flow.
I love the end product, the luminosity of color, and the complexity of form. My practice is cultivating discernment by showing up, understanding the medium through experience, and being fearless in my actions. The process takes me on a journey, often revealing the darker hidden inner recesses, and this too is fuel for alchemy. In the end there is an affirmation in paint, personal revelation leading to transformation, and a visual transmission of the ineffable to the viewer.
